The 10T Bow Cable Engine is a HICE-developed solution designed for cable loading and transpooling operations.

While its operating principle is similar to that of a Linear Cable Engine, the BCE is primarily used to transfer cable from temporary storage, cable coils or turntables directly onto a vessel. Suspended by crane, the system pulls and guides the cable efficiently in the direction of the vessel.

Due to its compact two-wheel drive system, the Bow Cable Engine offers a lightweight and practical solution for operations requiring controlled cable movement with relatively low pulling forces. This makes the system easy to transport, efficient to mobilise and practical to operate on site, while supporting safe and controlled cable handling during project execution.
