HICE zet de volgende stap in robotisering
Hulst Innovation Cable Equipment heeft maximaal € 37.110,86 subsidie ontvangen voor de aanschaf van een FANUC CRX-10iA lasrobot. De lasrobot is inmiddels in gebruik genomen in onze werkplaats en helpt ons om een deel van het laswerk slimmer, efficiënter en met constante kwaliteit uit te voeren.
Met deze investering zetten we een concrete stap richting verdere digitalisering en robotisering binnen onze productie. De FANUC CRX-10iA is een collaboratieve robot, ook wel cobot genoemd, met een payload van 10 kg en een bereik van 1.249 mm. Dit maakt de robot geschikt om ons team te ondersteunen bij laswerkzaamheden die vaker terugkomen en waarbij nauwkeurigheid en herhaalbaarheid belangrijk zijn.
De inzet van de lasrobot draagt bij aan een efficiënter productieproces en een constantere laskwaliteit. Daarnaast helpt de robot om fysiek belastend en herhalend werk deels uit handen te nemen. Zo ontstaat er voor onze medewerkers meer ruimte voor vakmanschap, controle en verdere technische ontwikkeling.
Voor HICE is deze investering niet alleen een stap in techniek, maar ook in de toekomst van onze werkplaats en ons team. Door te blijven investeren in moderne productiemiddelen versterken we onze maakcapaciteit en blijven we bouwen aan betrouwbaar cable handling equipment voor de offshore- en kabelindustrie.

HICE takes the next step in robotisation
Hulst Innovation Cable Equipment has received a maximum subsidy of €37,110.86 for the purchase of a FANUC CRX-10iA welding robot. The welding robot is now in use in our workshop and supports us in carrying out part of our welding work in a smarter, more efficient and consistent way.
With this investment, we are taking a clear step towards further digitalisation and robotisation within our production process. The FANUC CRX-10iA is a collaborative robot, also known as a cobot, with a 10 kg payload and a reach of 1,249 mm. This makes it suitable for supporting our team with welding tasks where accuracy, repeatability and consistency are important.
The use of the welding robot contributes to a more efficient production process and more consistent weld quality. It also helps reduce physically demanding and repetitive work for our employees. This creates more room for craftsmanship, quality control and further technical development.
For HICE, this investment is not only a step forward in technology, but also in the future of our workshop and our team. By continuing to invest in modern production equipment, we strengthen our manufacturing capacity and keep building reliable cable handling equipment for the offshore and cable industry.
